I thought, in light of Kurt Vonnegut’s passing away, that I’d better get reading some of his books. I bought two last Saturday, Cat’s Cradle and A Man without a Country.
I’ve now read A Man without a Country. It’s not a great book, but I think Vonnegut fans will find plenty to please them. I’m certainly glad I read it, well worth the £7 or so. It is a collection of his previous writings, not a brand new book. It is nice to have it collected into a single book though.
I’ll let you know how I get on with Cat’s Cradle.
