I like this blog about software by Dave Winer…all software is shit. The only difference is the software vendor. Some vendors admit it, some don’t. The ones who don’t are deluding themselves.
All software is buggy, period.
So, find software vendors who admit their software is shit and are determined to fix it.
Wordpress is shit and I love it.

Some are more buggy than others, but then some try harder to find bugs than others. Then of course there is a trend lately of having the users debug your software “public beta”
It is odd that software doesn’t feel like it is getting better at least from a reliability perspective. I think that is mostly down to development teams not being given sufficient resources. It is also an attitude problem too: far too many programmers still think it is OK to have customers find bugs.
