I dropped onto the CIA factbook entry for the UK (I was looking for the number of UK expats living in Spain). Apparently, the UK has a land area slightly less than the State of Oregon in the USA.
I’ve just looked up the population of Oregon and it is 3,421,399. According to the CIA factbook, the UK population is 60,609,153.
I thought it was a bit crowded around here…
